In 2014, we were briefed to get people talking about WeChat. So, with the backing of our brave client and the new ‘Friends Radar Function,’ we managed to ruffle a few feathers in silicone valley. Global news outlets like Wall Street Journal, CNBC and even Buzzfeed picked up on the ad giving it a viral run and subsequently getting it pulled from TV.
